Founded in the early 1970s when Alan & Joyce Rickard first introduced alstroemeria to the British flower market, the farm has always focused on plants with character and quality.

Over the years the business has evolved — blending traditional growing techniques with modern horticultural practice. Alstroemeria became a speciality because the Cornish climate suits it so well: cool, even temperatures and plenty of natural light help the flowers develop strong stems and long-lasting blooms.

We take pride in healthy soil, nurtured plants, and flowers that reflect a real connection with place and season. Sustainability with the use of solar panels and biomass heating  is central to how we work, both now and into the future.

While we’ve streamlined the way we sell flowers online, our commitment to farming great flowers remains unchanged.
